I'm Ryan, an AACTA/ADG/AWG/ASE-nominated filmmaker, video editor and television post-producer/offline editor based in Western Sydney, Australia.
My post-production credits include Stars on Mars (for Eureka Productions), Gogglebox Series 17 (EndemolShine Australia), the Australian and U.S. version of Farmer Wants A Wife (Eureka Productions), The Real Love Boat (Eureka Productions), Kitchen Nightmares (Eureka Productions), The Amazing Race Series 5 and 6 (Eureka Productions), Married at First Sight Series 9 (EndemolShine Australia), Finding Magic Mike (Eureka Productions), SAS Australia Series 1 and 2 (Screentime), Making It Australia (Eureka Productions), House Rules (Seven Network), My Kitchen Rules: The Rivals (Seven Network), Bride and Prejudice (Seven Network), The Great Australian Bake Off (FremantleMedia Australia) and Little Big Shots (Warner Bros Television Production Australia). A career highlight was assistant editing on long-running soap opera “Home and Away” (Seven Network) in 2016, which I returned to in 2024.
A proud recipient of the "Michael Ajakwe Award for Innovation" at Sydney Web Fest 2022, I have written, directed and produced a number of micro-films (between 15 seconds and 5 minutes) for the online space, with a heavy emphasis on horror and dark fantasy themes, including the acclaimed tech-horror Cut Off (2018); WWII-era fantasy Golem (2020); the AACTA-nominated pilot Tales From The Dark Web: Moira Hill (2022) (also one of three finalists in the "Got a Minute?" initiative by TikTok, Screen Australia and Screen Producers Australia); and now Greystanes (2024), an 18-episode Maltese-Australian supernatural horror/dark fantasy series, exclusive to TikTok and funded through the "Every Voice" initiative by Screen Australia and TikTok Australia.
